The rising cost to attend college has left many questioning whether or not a college degree is really worth it. There are so many important life lessons that a student receives during their college years. They are getting an education and learning new things that will help the in their future career, but college provides so much more than that. There is also a large social portion and lessons that are being taught in college. Throughout college an individual learns a lot about themselves as well as others. It is the first time in one’s life when they are on their own which allows them to develop into their own person. These are important years filled with growth for young people. A college degree gives an individual more than just a diploma it teaches important skills such as communication, time management, and work
