2. It is not easy to figure out who the narrator is. The narrator uses the word “we” to tell the story. He once uses the word “they”, this is what threw me off. The narrator could be a girl or a boy. There attitude towards emily seem like he cared for Emily. The narrator referred Emily as, Miss Emily. What they remember Emily is a young nice girl, but after her fathers death things changed. Then ends up turning into a old lady that poisons and kills Homer Barron. My attitude towards her are not that great. I understand life to get tough when you lose a family member, but the way she changed completely I don’t agree with it. I don't find myself sympathizing with Emily’s situation.
3. In the Old South, they had had families that had equal finical, and social power. Emily had a familiar similar to that. Emily was the same, she had those strong plantations. She was a very known person, even known as a symbol. She is a fallen monument because all that she went through, was who she was. She is now gone , and has no change of changing that.
