My career goals have been set t in line with my beliefs and the regard I hold for communication. I am motivated to continue providing expertise and ideas that enhance communication across all settings right from the workplace to the entire world. My current position as media representative and photographer at the Saudi Club put me in a position where upholding the highest standards of communication is key to my success as well as the company’s. I am driven by a great desire to make the difference between success and failure. I want to exploit the immense potential in me to sell the ideologies of my country to the outside world. As the Arabic nation, my country has always been in conflict with the rest of the world especially the West. Some sensitive issues like terrorism have been allowed to spark differences between the Arab world and the West simply because of poor communication and sharing of ideas. Consequently, the blame has been shifting between the two blocs and that has had detrimental repercussions on the political and economic relations between the two continents’ intent to be of great service to my country by representing our ideologies while articulating for the recognition and respect for our values and beliefs. I will take that opportunity to bridge the widening gap between war and peace. Therefore, in the course of duty, we ought to pay attention to such opportunities and take advantage when they present themselves to us.
• Communication is an integral aspect of life as it forms the basis for any constructive activity that takes place around us and which has a direct or indirect impact on our lives. This formed the larger scope of my studies in International Relations.
• The power of communication is immense, yet very few people realize that. As a result, it is essential for any aspiring professional to combine any qualification with proper communication skills by enrollment.
• Before my entry into college for my inaugural degree in media and communication, I had known communication as a brief process that takes place between two people by word of mouth. However, I came to learn that the process is long and comprises of multiple cues that come out either voluntarily or otherwise.
• In the earlier stages of my learning and career, I held the belief that conflicts could not be predicted and averted earlier to prevent escalation. This mentality could, however, change instantly when I began working. I realized that regardless of the magnitude of the impending crisis, objective communication can stop the predicament.
