Elderly Professional: Community Analysis

Our group came together with the idea of assisting the elderly. While researching, we found an elderly home named Chelsea which is located in Fanwood, New Jersey. Chelsea’s community is very welcoming and all the employees show respect and care for the seniors and visitors. After we researched and learned more about our community of need, we decided to search up activities and ideas that would please the seniors and be fun to do with the elderly. We found common activities that elderlies could do if they had more free time and were able to do it. For example, we were planning on doing arts and crafts (such as drawing and spring related crafts), jewelry, bingo night, karaoke night, and writing letter to families of friends.
