Gangs, such as MS-13 have a negative impact in our society, effects communities through America, and family orientated homes. To become a member you must endure 13 seconds of a “beat-down” to join. During this time any active member may hurt you in any harmful manner. Once going through this you have earned the respect from the leader and now may be an official member. But, you will have to earn continuous respect to be approved by the gang leader. The first step in to becoming a full accepted member is by killing. As soon as you enter the gang, the leader will send you on a “mission.” If the person completes this mission, they are a member. If the candidate fails, there is no turning back from that point on. Failure to complete an order or mission will result in death. Once a person is involved in MS-13, you are always a member. It has been know to be very difficult to leave this gang. Leaving MS-13 will result in death, and in some cases torture. People who have left will suffer the severe consequences. But, in fact, it has been know that if a member decided to leave MS-13, and be left unharmed, they will have to have a child, and wants to start a family. Even then MS-13 has been known to follow-up with its past members, to try and collect fee’s, make sure the obtain “security,” and still help with finance if needed.
