The older we get, the higher the percentage was raised of fast food being distributed to our schools lunch program. This means that most high schools in California are being fed lunches that were bought from fast food places and have a high amount of calories causing more of the students to eat unhealthy meals and possibly causing obesity in young adults. I asked about 25 people, “If you had the money, would you choose to go off campus everyday”(Survey)? Over three quarters of the people I asked all said that they would because the food being served to us at school isn’t enough to fill us up. Some of them even said that they won’t eat at school because it isn’t something they could bare the taste of. Along with that question, I also asked them, “If schools added the option of healthy food along with unhealthy food, would you choose the healthy option”(Survey)? Almost all of them said that they would choose the healthy option.
