Attachment from childhood now plays a role in relationships, with the securely attached being ideal, having positive views and find it easy to get close to others. Where the avoidant or anxiously attached are either hesitant to get into relationships or demand closeness and have jealousy, possessive and trust issues. When we first meet someone, we are imprinted with a first impression that has lasting effects that influence the way we treat them and create relationships between them.
