Firstly, the relation between violence in video games and in real life is uncertainty. Some studies that state video games as the contributor of youth’s aggression are flawed and ambiguous. Most of the studies do not include some significant factors in their research such as mental health of youth and violence in youth’s family (Ferguson). These factors are left uncontrolled despite they can affect the violent in youth as well. This leaves the research cannot be fully trustworthy. Some studies are better. They contain some scientific proofs and fully control other factors. However, they are not strong enough to claim that violence comes from video games and because of there are many factors, some reasons do not directly contributed from video games themselves. It is declared by the US Supreme Court that some demonstrated effects from video games that show in the studies are “both small and indistinguishable from effects produced by some other media”. Nonetheless, it is researched that there are no moderate, large, or strong effects from video games toward youth’s aggression at all (Williams, Skoric 228-229). It can be said that video games are not the direct cause of the hostility in youth. These aspects likely clear the suspicion about the violent effects from video games. However, they are still portrayed as dangerous products that contribute youth’s aggression. The news agencies should contain enough proofs or information before reporting news because they cannot explicitly prove that video games are really the cause of youth’s violence. Since media has been one the factor which can easily persuade people, it can create the misunderstanding information about video games to people. Video games should be intentionally created for fun and relaxation for players. All creators truly might not want crimes to occur. Nevertheless, video games also have been already controlled by limiting the age of the players for violence contents so blaming video games should be
