Astronomers believe that our universe was created roughly 13.7 billion years by a single singularity in which expand into the universe we live in today. This theory is know as the Big Bang theory. It's the belief that before 13.7 billion and a single singularity there was no matter, no energy, and no space within our universe; and then an immensely small hot, dense mass expanded forming everything we touch, breathe, and explore in today's universe.
