What captured my attention was the fact that this film was shot in black and white. However, it did work out because I feel like the point of having the film in black and white was to bring the audience back to that era. It seemed to really capture the life of that time period. In addition, it matched the footage of the arrogant, deceiving figure known as McCarthy.
