In this essay I will be comparing and contrasting two websites: The Edvocate and TIME. The articles are similar to each other, stating an argument of the problems in the American educational system. The titles of each are the following, "18 REASONS THE U.S. EDUCATION SYSTEM IS FAILING" AND "Here's the Real Problem With America's Educational System".

Beginning with the The Edvocate's article 18 REASONS THE U.S. EDUCATION SYSTEM IS FAILING, THE AUTHOR MATTHEW LYNCH HAS A HISTORY OF WRITING ARTICLES ABOUT EDUCATION. LYNCH IS an award-winning writer, activist. he authors a blog on EducationWeek.com entitled "Education Futures: Emerging Trends and Technologies in K-12. Matthew Lynch is the website owner of The Edvocate. The Edvocate is intended to be a conversation between educators about the best ways to give all P-20 students equal access to education.
