I have read the short story “The tell-tale heart” by Edgar Allan Poe. The Tell-Tale Heart is about a seemingly crazy person, which decides to murder a poor old man because the narrator can’t stand the sight of the old man's eye. The Narrator heads each night to the victim's bedroom to kill the old man, but he can not to carry out the deed, of which he himself says "It was not the old man I hate, but man's evil eye". When the old man one evening opens his eye, the narrator finally manages to kill him and then hide his body under a few loose floorboards.
