E. Hinton's The Outsiders

In the outsiders movie and novel it introduced the main characters and greasers Ponyboy Curtis, Darrel Curtis, Sodapop, Dallas Winston, Steve Randle, Two Bit Matthews, and Johnny Cade. In the movie/book Ponyboy had gotten jumped by the greasers rival the soc’s. During this time the Greasers had showed up and chased away the soc’s and threw stuff like rocks and empty bottles at them. Ponyboy had been lying drowsily on the ground when Darry and Soda had picked him up a little bit. After they had chased off all the Soc’s and helped ponyboy they went to Darry’s house and everybody except for johnny left.

During the middle of the book/movie Darry had hit Pony and he ran away. Johnny killed a Soc named bob and they ran to Dally. Dally gave them some …show more content…
In the book we read some of his writings and how the spelling was not very perfect but readable. After a while he got a procedure where he would become smarter than before. Before that surgery he raced a mouse named Algernon and lost a few times. After his surgery he was able to beat the mouse felt good about himself. Charlie had became good friends with the mouse and was always around it.

Later in the book/movie Algernon had went back to being a regular old mouse then died from something. When the doctors had told Charlie he was very heartbroken that he had lost his friend. Later Charlie Gordon had went back to his old not very smart self. Carlies old “friends” had started being nice to him. Charlie had forgotten how to read, write good, and had lost his feelings for his teacher Ms.Kinnian. Every day after that Charlie had taken flowers to Algernon because that’s what he thought was right.

In conclusion you should now doubt anybody for their disabilities and be nicer to people. You should also never forget your friends and do anything to keep them
