Once the leader understands these moods, they can tailor subsequent interactions to prevent creating tension or divisions in the team. As leader we must have adequate and observable personal qualities that can help to assess and integrate team members to form a functional team. Some of the critical aspects that the leader needs to consider are the team composition, team size, assignment of tasks, creating the right climate, identification of team goals and team structure. Constant and effective communication is also critical as poor communication may cause team fragmentation, tension or even total collapse. Each of these factors is vital and requires the right amount of focus from the team leader. The successful implementation of these elements creates the line between an effective and an ineffective military
