The DWP skills are skill that we used to make sure that we are on task and doing what we need to be doing. There is fifteen skill that people use to make sure that they are on task. The first five of the skills are usually used in preschool through kindergarten. The next five is manly used in first through third. They also use the last five as well. Once, they hit first grade you should already have mastered the first five. The next five are used by fourth through eighth grade. At this point they should have master the other ten skills. The last five have to be the hardest to master. By the time you are a freshman you should have mastered all the fifteen skills. The first skills are Listing, following instructions, ask questions, share, social skills. These are the ones that are used by the preschoolers and the kindergartners. These are the skills that build the foundation social skills and how to function in class. Listing is just paying attention in class. Following instruction is a big one because if you don’t follow instructions then you really can't master all the other ones. Ask question means that if you don’t understand something don’t just not ask anybody you have to ask questions so you know what you are doing and to make sure that you are doing it right. Share. These are the skills that I usually use. Communication s kind of like the social skills that are n the first five because they both mean the same thing. They both require you to talk to somebody. Leadership is another thing that I use in my day to day activities. Since I am an eighth grader then I have to be a leader to all the little kids at the school. Our buddy’s is kindagarden so we need to show them how to act at school and in church. Completing a task is just to make sure that you turn in all of your homework on time, that you do it right the first time, and you don’t slack
