Cancer has been around for a longtime but breast cancer has become more prevalent in the past ten years. Although breast cancer is a more common factor for women, men can also have breast cancer. There are different types of breast cancer however; Ductal Carcinoma Cancer is the most common type of noninvasive breast cancer women experience. There are two types of breast carcinoma and the biopsy will identify or confirm which type. The sample from the tissue cells identifies the relationship between the cancer cells to the lobule or duct walls where they begin. If the location of the cancer is in the ducts or the lobules it is noninvasive or carcinoma in situ also known as lobular neoplasia (LCIS).
