My Favorite Types of Music

I enjoy listening to rock and roll. My favorite bands e.g. Black Veil Brides, Kiss, Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, Atilla. These bands are very loud and awsome types of bands. My favorite part in rock music is screamo. Screamo is very loud and some people think it’s stupid and pointless. I think it sounds awsome and cool.

I also like to listen to Dubstep. Dubstep is a variation that combinds types of electronics. My favorite bands for dubstep are, Skrillex,Alex Mitch, and Trap Nest. Some dubstep has words in them and some don’t. I enjoy listening to both.

If I had to choose between rock and dubstep. I would choose rock anytime. If I listen to too much rock I would go straight to dubstep. Dubstep isn’t

As a child who grew up in a household that encouraged a broad mind and colorful imagination, it was only natural that I developed eclectic tastes. Sometimes I enjoy sitting in the living room with my father, listening to old, crackly jazz music; I compete with my family while watching Jeopardy every night. Even more than that, I adore East Asian culture and I’m frequently immersed in its music, television shows, and food. It’s an odd combinations of interests, but it is what I love. I tend to read books that explore people’s relationships with both their environment and each other.…

Rock N Roll In The 80's

Even though I do agree with you on the fact that 80’s rock had a tremendous influence on the rainbow of music styles that we have today, there are some facts in your argument that I wish to dispute. First off, rock n’ roll was heavily popular since the 50’s; you had Chubby Checker, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and…of course…Elvis Presley. These artists are the ones that took backstreet-bar blues and turned it into the mainstream media that it is today. Without them, you would not have The Beatles of the 60’s, which were the creators of Pop Rock and purveyors of Psychedelic Rock, nor the explosion of genres in the 80’s.…

Their song “Rock Box” provides an example of hardcore rap that was able to crossover to mainstream audience which was one their main reasons for success. Part of their appeal and success was their mixture of rock guitar and hip hop beats, which was seen as adversaries at times. This mixture of rock guitar and hip hop beats was successful for Run- D.M.C. and created a signature sound for them. This type of style they used usually involved them starting their song with an opening drumbeat from a rock song, usually Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way” followed with the mixture of hip hop beats that they would later include and also a rock guitar sound. Electronic Swing Analysis

My taste in music could best be described as electronic swing, since it is not quite EDM, electronic dance music, and isn't exactly jazz. It's the perfect mix, which presents you with a type of music that resembles art more than a simple melody. Often mistaken for nu-disco, electronic swing creates a modern and dance-floor focused sound that is more readily accessible to the modern ear but that also retains the feeling of live brass and the energetic excitement of the early swing recordings. The best-known artists include Parov Stelar and Caravan Palace while one-off international hits include 'Why Don't You' by Gramophone Dzie or No. 1 World Hit We No Speak Americano by Australian duo…
