“More than 1.5 million drivers drive intoxicated each year and then end up getting arrested for drunk driving” (Be responsible, 2011). Drunk driving can cause many problems towards the people that are involved. There are ways that it can be prevented. With all the holidays that happen, many people like to go out and have a good time, but it’s not smart to do so unless people are aware of what they are getting into, especially in they have been drinking. On the other hand it can be stopped. While people may drink and drive during the holidays and many other special gatherings, family, friends and law enforcement need to prevent drunk driving, and help those with a problem get better or face their consequences.

As the Traffic Law Reform Act’s rates continue to decrease year to year it will help change and show people thats drunk driving can be prevented.
