The Drug Free Sport is a proud partner of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) they are the nation’s leader in sports drug testing and they administer all of the NCAA championships all year round through their drug test program. They believe it is essentially to drug test the athletes to ensure a fair game in all of the season; offering educational resources for everyone not only the athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, administrators, sports dietitians, and parents can take advantage of all this resources to help combat the use of drugs in the sports world. These over the counter drugs can be easily found as they are sold in the stores and do not need the signature of a doctor. The only problem is that we are not sure what is in those pills. The FDA does not regulate, monitor the dietary supplement the athletes take so the athlete on their own risk takes the supplements. If the REC finds something wrong they educate the NCAA on these banned substances and the ingredients found and how harmful it can be to the body. They also provide resources on nutrition for the staff sports dietitian they meet with the athlete to help them with a regular nutrition also they go for advise on what to eat when they
