The Five Forces analysis of ‘Drinking Places’
1. Suppliers: Bars purchase alcohols from the same suppliers for usually close to the same price. The suppliers should not be an issue in the drinking industry.
2. Buyers/ Consumers: The customer base more or less creates a predictable, scheduled set of buyers because of people's tendency to drink around the same time and at the same small set of locations.
3. Substitutes: Substitutes for a bar are readily available because of the same products being available at each different location. Therefore, it is important to remain popular and give what the consumer wants.

In addition, there is virtually no switching cost due to similar pricing everywhere. If the consumer becomes dissatisfied with any small part of the business, they can leave and find similar drinks and a similar drinking environment.

• Has a strong symbol of tradition and bring nostalgia to graduated students.
• Strong relationship with the SAC that brings joint events and benefits.
• Existing popularities and the popular deals.
• Established functioning bar and good staff. • The pub’s location is the basement, which students with disabilities have difficulty entering the building.
• There is no signage on the exterior of the building.
• The building can only hold 175 people and lead customers complaining of a long waiting line.
• The Run-down appearance affects the customers (especially the local customers) and sales.
Opportunities Threats
• The new location offered by the University.
• New students coming into the university every year.
• University is providing a loan for equipment and others when moving to new location. • Rivalries among the pubs that are only a few kilometers
