Introduction
Attention Getter: You and your friends are trapped in a world where dragons roam the skies, WereWolfs seek blood in the night and witches and hags look for easy prey on the outskirts of towns.
Relate to Audience: Everyone has wondered what it would be like to be in a world of magic and mystery. Where God's choice mortals to fight as champions for them and Demons and Devils fight an never ending war in the underworld.
Establish Credibility: I have been a big fan of adventure novels, videogames, and movies since I was a little kid. Where dragon ruled the sky and monsters shock the earth. When I found out there was a game out there where you could do pretty much whatever you could imagine I started my research on a game a just new the name of D&D. That was about three years ago now.
Preview the Body: In this paper, I will be going over the three main parts of Dungeons and Dragons or as it’s more commonly know as D&D. The topics are what is D&D, player development, Who or What the DM is.

DM stands for dungeon master. Now for those who are not familiar with D&D. A vast majority of you is my guess. I think that a splurge from the book Dungeon Master's Guide sum up the job of the DM very well. “A Dungeon Master gets to wear many hats. As the architect of the campaign, the DM creates adventures by placing monsters, traps and treasures for the other adventurers to discover”(page 4 of the Dungeon Master's Guide). Though the DM’s job doesn't stop there. As well as creating a world filled with monsters and treasure it is the DM job to create the adventures for the adventurers to go on. This, of course, means creating a storyline, which is one of the main duties of the DM. From a dragon that keeps attacking a village to a newly discovered underwater city filled with frog people.
