It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America.…

Trump announcement that he was going to build a wall along the southern boundary of Mexico and the U.S. to protect Americans from "Some bad Hombres"(Cummings). It's no secret that the Mexican drug cartels are conducting drug and human trafficking into the U.S. via tunnels from one border town into another and in some instances has been known to attempt to bring these items and persons though US Border Patrol controlled entry point. The southern boundary of the US should have a wall created to restrict the flow of drugs and people of illegal status from entering the US, and stop the trafficking of guns from the US to…

One reason why a wall should be built, is because jobs are being taken away. Immigrants who come to the U.S, illegally, end up getting a job when they are not supposed to. They have no documents so they can not be hired. If an illegal immigrant does get hired, the person who hired them can receive criminal penalties. They can lose their business license and may have to pay fines.…

“At a basic level, a wall or fence can never stop illegal immigration because a wall or fence cannot apprehend anyone” (Bier, Cato Institute). As Bier stated, a border wall in theory won’t necessarily stop illegal immigration as once thought. As previously stated in this paper, just because there is a wall that doesn’t mean that these illegal immigrants hailing from the southwest border wouldn’t be able to tunnel under or climb over a wall. With this in mind if the wall were to be ineffective as some suggest, it would be a huge waste of capital as well as an enormous setback in our economy. Hypothetically assuming that the wall gets built and is perfect in keeping out immigrants, we would lose a huge economic boost provided in part by illegal immigrants.…

Over the past few weeks I have been accumulating Information about the economy over the past fifty something odd years, and to say the least I was blown away by my findings. My discussions mainly centered on the economy through the 1960’s which was in the heart of the Civil Rights Movement. Two weekends ago I made a trip home to Topeka to speak with my Grandmother, Nina Whitten (73 years old) about what she remembered about the economy back during that time period. This particular topic was a fascinating one to talk about for the both of us. Her first memory was about the jobs that black folks were practically forced to take because there were not very many options.…

If an immigrant has chosen to come to America they have a certain amount of time to become a citizen of the United States. The border is supposed to reduce illegal immigrants and not keep allowing immigrants to stay in America without a United States citizenship. Minorities should feel privileged to come to the United States, they are getting away from their problems in their home country and coming to a country that is free and more privileged. However, some might take advantage of America and think they do not have to obey the laws here in America. Supporters of Donald Trump are more negative about illegal immigrants and free trade agreements (Donald J. Trump, 2016).…
