Donald Trump Self-Centered?

Improved Essays
I agree with Ruth Marcus in saying that Donald Trump is self-centered. Marcus claims that on the morning after the inauguration, Donald Trump was focused on the photographs taken at the inauguration. This coincides with the belief of Donald Trump being a “reality T.V. president.” There are far greater problems than insuring someone accurately depicts a crowd of people. Marcus then says that at the Central Intelligence Agency, Donald Trump boasted about his own intellect. Again, Donald Trump is focusing on himself while he is supposed to be doing other duties, like honoring the fallen employees. Marcus claims that Donald Trump’s ego causes American citizens and foreign leaders to find Trump’s assertions untruthful. I also agree with this statement.

Introduction I’m sure that many people these days have noted Mr. Trump’s battle or comments on Twitter have often been blown up into their faces by the media these days. In fact, it’s quite rare to find a news article that doesn’t include the infamous family name “Trump” either. It’s a constant ongoing battle between the Trump and media sources. After all, he had went from a big television personality to now becoming our president, which no one would have originally seen coming and is a particular nuisance to many as he both dislikes media and tends to make outrageous statements. Yet, many people within America and even outside of America tend to be attracted to this attention to Trump’s administration.…

Just a guy in a suite at, what seemed to be a golf course. However as simple as it seems, people don’t smile or take pictures for no reason. The rhetorical appeal that is presented here could be both ethos, logos and pathos. It is ethos because Trump here is able to convince people of his character or credibility. To illustrate, his character in this picture is giving the sense that he is just an average guy who is having a great time playing golf.…

President Donald Trump, the unpredictable result for many, now became the future of America. He is no different in his book, Time to Get Tough- Making America #1 Again. President Donald Trump’s inaugural address perfectly echoed the tone and tenor of the campaign that swept him into office — blunt, populist, and relentlessly inward-looking for a nation that’s long defined itself as a global power. It was a speech that couldn’t have broken more sharply with the past administration both in style and substance. Trump didn’t mention Hillary Clinton, a woman who earned nearly 3 million more votes in the presidential election. And he did make a point of saying “radical Islamic terrorism,” a phrase conservatives have long chided the Obama administration for eschewing.…

Fascism in the White House Throughout the past election the word "fascist" has been thrown around both in association of the President of the United States, Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama. This word has a very strong meaning and should not be used to describe a president . According to The American Heritage Dictionary the definition of fascism is, "oppressive or dictatorial control"(Mifflin). President Trump has been accused of many negative things that were simply not true, the media has twisted most of the things he has said. When you research fascism you quickly learn it is not a term to throw around and it is highly offensive, therefore it is not appropriate to call President Trump fascist.…

Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of the United States of America, he served two terms as a Democratic Republican from 1829-1837. The entire Jackson campaign not only started up revolutionary political election tactics such as rallies, parades, and lavish dinners that supporters paid for, but it also sparked up a whole new era of mass democracy, and gave birth to the political party that we now know as the “Democrats”. Mr. Jackson considered himself, a president for the people, with a strong personal stance on a capitalist democracy, he was a forceful leader not afraid to use his veto vote when he felt passionate about a certain issue.
