Dog Autobiography

During my lifetime, I always remember having a dog. One of my first memories, actually, was the day I got a puppy for Christmas. Even though I was only 3 years old, I clearly remember opening that big, white box left which was left by Santa Claus. What I found inside, was a fluffy, adorable Golden Retriever puppy. He was the first dog I remember having and I was static. As any child, a puppy for Christmas was the ultimate gift. As I grew up, so did JJ named after my dad’s initials. Jimmy also was different than JJ because he was not a gentle giant, but much more like the complete opposite. When strangers came over, Jimmy was known to be the “mean dog” and we knew that he could not be approached by strangers because he would be violent to them. We knew that he did not like being around people he was not familiar with. However, with my family and well-known people, he can be the sweetest dog that is extremely lovable. Also, Jimmy has specific spark to his personality. He can be very sassy, and bold at times. When he is not so happy, he gives me and my family members the infamous side eye. It is obvious to those that know his ways when he is not the happy side of the rainbow. However, his personality makes him special and different from JJ, which in the end is good because it is never possible for two things to be exactly the

Jimmy's upbringing was always sheltered by his family such as making sure he was protected at all times when it was cold or when it came to playing in dangerous environment as in a ditch. What my dog has taught me Humans are basically social animals, and in learning to coexist more peacefully, our pets could teach us a thing or two. Humans are sometimes arrogant enough to believe that our lives matter more than others, but in owning a dog it 's clear to see why it doesn 't. I know some people consider their pets as a part of their families. I strongly agree with that stance towards the dog I have in my home. Having been a dog owner since the age of nine, I can claim that a lot of growing and maturing goes on during that timeframe. Pets have this ability to teach people things that even humans cannot.…

One afternoon, after having her for a few months, I was sitting at the kitchen island, hunched over my homework. I could feel the yellow light above me giving me a headache, and my back ached from sitting at the table for so long.…
