2. The “recipient” was a 5”7” male of asian descent. He seemed to become frustrated rather easily as during our observation he would aggressively drop his pencil on the desk. Lastly, he also portrayed himself to be shy because, although, he needed help with a practice problem, he did not ask anyone for help.

Due to the fact, the “doer” is currently taking Chem 210 and understands the information. Therefore, because organic is found to be difficult and gigantic nuisance to most students, our group through the greatest impact in his day would be helping him with the end of the lecture organic chemistry problems.
6. This exercise made me exceptionally happy not only because I was able to make someone's day but also because it goes along with many of Penn State's missions in terms of community service. Also, due to this even I am now strongly considering tutoring due to the satisfaction. However, before I was rather nervous because it had been sometime before I had talked to this colleague. Moreover, at first it was intimidating because, the “recipient” kept insisting he was fine but after few minutes he opened up.
7. While watching the “doer” do a hospitable act by helping the “recipient” with a Chemistry 210 problem; he seemed very focused and straight-forward almost as if he was trying to stick to the main goal of helping the “recipient” with the problem. No jokes or any type of laughter was exchanged during this entire conversation. The “recipient” at first was very reluctant to admit he needed help and somewhat embarrassed. This can be assumed because he was waving off the “doer” and it seemed he insisting everything was okay. Soon, after the “doer” did not give up the “recipient” relaxed, and asked his question. After each question, I noticed the “recipient” would ask more questions and felt more comfortable with the “doer”. When, the two were finished the “recipient” seemed in a better state as he shook the “doers” hand.
9. For the “doer” the outcome was a feeling of pride, motivation, and happiness. As after the exceptional deed, he seemed more upbeat, confident, and going on and on about becoming a tutor. On the other hand, the “recipient” had a smirk on his face as the “doer” walked away and his body position became much more relaxed and that of a pleased individual. So, it seems his day went from unsatisfactory to an above average
