Do You Think That Doctors Should Prescribe Antipsychotic Drugs

Do you think that doctors and psychiatrists prescribe antipsychotic drugs to children and adolescents? Imagine it being your kid in that situation where your kid has these problems and your left up to the decision of giving them antipsychotic drugs such as Risperidone (Risperdal), Aripiprazole (Abilify) and, Quetiapine (Seroquel) etc. The first pediatric use for antipsychotic drug was approved by the FDA and they used risperidone on kids with autism. They also used Aripiprazole was approved for use by the FDA and given to adolescents with schizophrenia. Second generation drugs are much more safer and a lot better to prescribe them to children to conclude this they don’t have as many side effects

Kids with autism also show good results on they are acting with the medicine that they take. The FDA does approve of doctors and psychiatrists prescribing the adolescents antipsychotic drugs. Do you think that doctors should prescribe antipsychotic drugs? Think about being your kid being the one with these kind of problems and they have anger problems? It would suck and you want them to get help. Have a mindset of a parent and having to worry about what your kid will do to themselves. They could become really depressed and want to kill themselves and not wanna be happy anymore. Schizophrenia is a very serious thing. Cause you’re hearing voices in your head and you can’t get anything done with those voices surrounding you and telling you to do things that you don’t want to. Be a happy kid sitting around with friends on Halloween and laughing then all of sudden you get really sad and feel alone you shouldn’t have to feel like.
