Introduction
Communication is the process of sending and receiving messages between two or more people. Diversity, ethics, and technology are a few types of communications. They typical types of communication that is used are verbal and written. Communication can be processed through emails, text messages and phone calls. People use communication to get there point across to an audience, although diversity, ethics, and technology can cause some issues.

Diversity
Diversity refers to being diverse, range of different things, or having a variety. “Diversity policies, practices and philosophies are found on several corporate web sites as a means of publicly communicating the organization’s commitment, practices and support of organizational diversity.”

Diversity affects the ethical decisions of many individuals. For example, a manager may only higher people of the same race, although there is someone who is well qualified for the position, but of a different race. Instead of looking at the talents that the other individual may possess, the manager insists on overlooking and hiring based on race. This affects ethical decisions because the manager is unable to be diverse within their choice of who to hire.

Technology
In the 21st century we use technology more than ever to communicate via text message, email, television, social media, etc.… The of cell phone of internet to send or receive messages is known as mediated communication which is a message going through any type of channel except face to face. Mass communication occurs when there is a broadcasted message sent to multiple people at the same time such as through the television or radio. (Beebe, 2016)

The response that a woman will give versus a man will be more relatable, understanding and the response will be more considerate. Gender differences affect the word choice or communication style one will choose to communicate with the opposite sex. Another way that gender differences affect communication if someone is androgynous or transgender.
