The purpose of using the research methodology of case studies is because there have been numerous analyses on the impact of diversity in the workplace. As such, through analyzing the various previous analysis of this topic, it will be possible to establish a clear understanding of the impact of diversity in the workplace.
A case study, therefore, provides a detailed analysis of a specific situation (Crowe et al., 2011). The use of the case study research design in this study will be important in offering the researcher the opportunity of getting more information on the research topic. Apparently, this research method is now popular, more precise and focused on the situation and enables a qualitative researcher to narrow down on a broad field of research (Hyett, Kenny, & Dickson-Swift, 2014). It will make it possible to identify various similar variables in the research, an aspect that will enable the researcher to narrow down on the analysis of the impact of diversity within the workplace.
