Divergent

“ You can’t define me” Beatrice Prior is a young girl in the book series Divergent written by Veronica Roth. The set is a dystopian society the novel Divergent takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Chicago. The story follows Beatrice Prior as she finds her identity in a society that defines its citizens by their social and personality-related affiliation with five factions by taking the aptitude test, which exposes divergents who are a threat to the society. The focused main plot is a romantic attraction between Tris and one of her instructors in the Dauntless faction, nicknamed Four.

Condor is the faction who swear to always be honest. They place her and four under truth serum to see if they can trust them and ask personal questions. When they ask Tris personal questions about her and others that she doesn't want to answer she fights off the truth serum, which has never happened before.

The final outcome of the story was a sad happy ending. The people of Chicago were told the truth about being a part of an experiment to create the perfect society. The faction system was eliminated and everyone was free to be who they wanted to be and were no longer under the control of the founders. Unfortunately, Tris did die leaving her loved ones and friends heartbroken. Tris played the most important part in this series. She was the who took a stand and never stopped fighting for what she believed. It’s a twisted complicated story with a new different challenge in each book but most of all it's about a young fragile, shy 16 year old girl finding herself becoming strong and not letting anyone tell her who she
