I looked at my ragged blue clothes, knowing that I wasn’t where I belong. Tris and Tobias were leaving, and I wouldn’t be going with. Looking at my sister, I saw how much she could help the world. “Are you guys ready to go?” Tobias walked up with his usual swagger. “I’m not going with you guys.” I began to lie about why I would not come with them. Tris engulfed me in a hug. While waving goodbye, I watched them walk off; I turned around and began walking toward the tall glass building that I could see in the distance. As I rifled through my brown bag, I still could not find the map I had placed in there. I ran towards the sector where the Divergent were being held. A struggle was all anyone could hear. Tris came into view. She was fighting as if her life depended on it. “Caleb?” Tris asked, confused. “Beatrice!” I answered back happily. Tris broke free and ran to me. “What’re you doing here? Were you determined Divergent?” “No, I’m helping society, or should I say you're helping society!.” Horror flashed over her face. “What? Let me out! Somebody help me! Come on, Jeanine couldn’t have brainwashed all of you!” “Stop her!” a guard ordered. Tris dove under the guards blocking her path. She swerved around me, but I yanked her shirt back causing her to stay where she was. “I hate you!” she screamed. “Caleb! What's that?” Jeanine squealed before I had looked at my screen. “Oh my god!” I pushed my chair back. “Caleb, get her here, now!” I nodded my head and ran off. I replayed exactly what I had seen in my head: a live video feed of Tris and Tobias running through the woods, trying to find a safe place.

You'll always be stuck with me,” I chucked to lighten the mood, knowing she needed it. “I'm scared.” “Why?” “I don't know what's going to happen. I hate that, the unknown. I don't know if I'll be able to survive or anything. What if I become factionless?” She let out a small sob. “I can't tell you with much confidence that all of those things are wrong, because I don't know either.
