“what evil blew in this pest?; Antinous hit me for being driven on by hunger.” (Homer 1210-1242)
The quote above shows that Antinous treats Odysseus by the way he looks, not the way he acts or what his personality is.
Eurymachus treats Odysseus horribly at first, but after Odysseus shoots Antinous, he tries to bribe him with riches and food to show he still has honor for Odysseus as the king.
“Antinous was the ringleader; we’ll make restitution of wine and meat consumed, and add, each one, a tithe of of twenty oxen with gifts of bronze and gold to warm your heart. Meanwhile we cannot blame you for your anger.” (Homer lines 1453-1463)
According to Homer, the suiter’s are scared so they treat Odysseus like the king he is so they do not get shot. If Antinous was still alive the suiter’s would have not treated Odysseus like a king, they would’ve treated him poorly with Antinous.
Altogether, treatment of Odysseus shows that after they come home people will treat the person differently than they did before and they will not have honor or loyalty to that specific

These dogs use different tactics to tell their owner someone is approaching them so the owner does not freak out and have an violent episode that can hurt someone in public.
Jesse Tanner went through a horrific time as a driver in the airborne embassy. He and others had to shoot a man who started barreling towards them and Jesse had been startled from the shooting. He had a hard time coming out of the house, unless it was to go to the bar. Jesse achieved help with a Veterans Bestfriend. The dog that helped him with his PTSD, helped him control his anger and control his episodes when people approached him. “I take her to school with me now and she usually sits in front of me and when someone walks behind me she just nudges me and I know someone is coming up behind me. I’m not gonna you know, flip out when somebody like says hi or something and startles me.”

“For the sin of their mouths, the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride”(PRV 59.12). Pride stems from deceitfulness, and those who spread lies become trapped by their own vice; evil befalls those who devise deceit and treachery. Jacob and Odysseus, men from mythologies of radically different religions, both possess the inclination to seize personal distinction through guile and proudly rely on their own virtue and skills.
