Discuss The Seven Steps In Health Care

There are seven steps that organizations involved with health care can take to prevent serious regulatory issues (Sigg & Fiorelli, 2002). These seven steps are implementing fraud prevention policies, designating compliance officers, training employees, communicating effectively, hiring the right employees, audit compliance, and responding to detected offenses and implementing corrective measures (Sigg & Fiorelli, 2002). The organization needs to visibly post all written policies, standard operating guidelines, and conduct policies which address detailed areas to include everything from potential fraud and abuse and quality of care issues to the organization’s expectations and common ethics as applicable to employees (Sigg & Fiorelli, 2002).
