Discrimination For Women

American women work just as much as men, but still get paid less in today’s society Women deserve the right to get paid as equal as men. The work place is discriminating women, and it needs to be stopped. The national women law center states that “with women still paid only 79 cents for every dollar to men, it’s clear that we have a long way to to make the work place fair in the United States” (NWLC). Elmore argues that if both genders are working the same hours doing the same job than why they shouldn’t get paid the same. America need to take a stand, and help women in the workplace get equal right. Women would doubt their ability to do something because of their sex. There a reason the equal pay act came in tact during the ninetieth hundreds. So that there is no discrimination, and that everyone get paid equally. The equal pay is supposed to sever a duty, and that is to make everything regarding to equal pay rational. The congressional digest vol.93 goes in depth about how the government has a control on employer hiring, and pay practice. Congress can make a change for women so they don’t have to get up and start issues with the government. The digest states that even with progress, women remain over represented in the low-wage workforce” (Digest). Women made so much progress over the las three decades, but still remain to earn low wages. Society needs to stand unite, and make a difference are silenced to their rights. Women need to stop being disadvantaged, and have a right to donating the opposite gender can do. Women have a right, and their right should not be taken because of their sex. If the movement can make a change than the hiring manger will see that their wrong, and that women should be treated equally. Women should get recognized for a lot of hard work they do, for example they are the main person that keeps the family together in a household. They have so much on their plate they shouldn’t be treated unfairly. Women are seen that they are weak, and useless. While men are seen as Men are seen as being in the superior in the home.
