For example when I get a bad grade I think about why I got the grade, and what I could have done to do better. After reflecting I come to some sort of conclusion, which is satisfying and makes it easier to get over the situation. Than I try coming up with a solution that will help me avoid the situation in the future. This process usually makes me feel better, and it clears my mind. But it can be super hard to get over more serious instances, such as a family death or getting denied by your dream collage. Personally I have not experienced those tragic situations; but the following tricks can help deal with the pain. The best thing to do when you are disappointed is to take a nap. A restful nap clears my mind, and gives my body rest which helps soften my pain. Aside from a nap, I like to play video games and watch TV, because they are soothing activities that take my mind off the disappointment. These activities can help ease the pain, but they are not permanent
