Differences: Similarities Between Knights And Samurais

Lots of people say that Knights and Samurais are the complete opposite, which they aren't. They are very much the same with many differences. For example, both Knights and Samurais merged around Feudalism, and had the same hierarchical system. They also were prepared for battle and went into battle in the same ways. Knights and Samurais were very much the same with small differences because of what they wore/used in battle, how they were structured, and their honor codes.

First of all, Knights and Samurais are similar because of what they wore/used in battle. They were almost the same thing, just different materials. This is evidenced by the fact that Knights wore a heavy iron armour while the Samurais wore a medium weighted leather armour. Meaning that they used the same type of armour, just in two different materials. This is also evidenced by the fact that Knights used Iron swords while the Samurais used Steel Swords. These swords were used for the same things, they were jesut made of different metals. This is lastly shown by the fact that Knights used a crossbow, and the Samurais used a regular bow and arrow. The only things that are different between a regular bow and arrow, and a crossbow, is that the regular bow and arrow is held vertically, while the crossbow is held horizontally.
