Differences Between Beagles And Labrador Retrievers

Decent Essays
Beagles and Labrador Retrievers are two very different dog breeds. And because of their differences, these dog breeds require different needs in handling. Labrador Retrievers shed very often, and a lot of loose fur needs to be brushed off and vacuumed. Experts say that Labradors should get brushed at least once a day. On the other hand, Beagles do not shed very much, and when they do, it is very unnoticeable. Therefore, Beagles only need to be brushed at least once a week. That was only one example of how Beagles and Labrador Retrievers are different, and because of that difference, their handling needs are different too.

Their wire coats are made up of a combination of a short, soft dense undercoat and a layer of long wiry guard hairs on top.
