All different types of pets have come to make great companions for all different kinds of people. Many people these days have at least one or more pets. When it comes to choosing the type of pet one might get there are a lot of different factors that they have to choose from, especially when it comes to dogs and cats. Cats and dogs are both hunters but they each have their own way of accomplishing it. Cats like to creep up on their prey and surprise them; they use their quick speed and stealth to their advantage. Dogs will typically chase down their prey because they are not as quick on their feet as cats are but they do have better endurance. Their flight or fight responses are also very different; cats will typically flee the situation by climbing or jumping and dogs will usually fight back because they are more earthbound and cannot flee was well as the cat. The way cats and dogs interact with things and people are also diverse. Dogs are typically more people lovers then cats and need to be around people or other dogs constantly. Cats are normally loners, they like to be left alone most of the time, but they still do enjoy company of their owners. Both cats and dogs are helpful for us; petting them helps reduce stress and relieve attention. When it comes to training cats and dogs, dogs can be trained almost instantly cats are almost never trained. However, One thing is true about both animals they love food and will do almost anything for it!
