Nonverbal Communication Climate

People need to communicate between each other to express their feelings and ideas. When a person communicates he or she can do it in a verbal or non-verbal manner. In non-verbal communication messages are expressed through nonlinguistic means. In other words, it is a two-way method that has to be face-to-face and includes facial expressions, body language, gesture, posture, vocal tones, etc. It is important to know that written messages and sight language are part of the verbal communication because all forms of verbal communication involve specific rules that conform the language. Verbal and non-verbal communication can be used at the same time or by itself.

It can be divided into two different parts positive and negative. The communication climate can affect how the relationship develops. It is important to change the communication climate if people want their relationships to work out. As soon as people realize that the climate the relationships are not the ones that would ensure a healthy connection, they must try to improve the climate before it is too late. What I learned from this experience is the importance of communication and respect. Our relationship is really good today because we respect each other’s times. Now I understand that people have other priorities in life, that when someone is not replying your text messages, it doesn’t mean he or she is ignoring you. Sometimes it is very difficult to organize your time and people that are around you must understand and respect your schedule. I also think that we should be more patient because everyone thinks differently. I guess that becoming really close friends with someone I had just met was something unusual for my boyfriend.
