Trump mentioning putting up a wall separating the U.S and Mexico border shows that he does not want to include them in our multicultural society. In addition, he fears that one day they can probably become the majority. The attitude of Trump can affect the views that Hispanics have when it come to Republicans since they hold a conservative view. According to Kam (2007;343), his studied showed that if a Hispanic candidate is not present then they tend to try and support a candidate that has a positive outlook for their ethnical group. Society identity is the effects that may cause a group to have a contain behavior. Ethier and Deaux(1994;243), stated that when it comes to social identity those that have a strong “ethnic identity is significantly predicted by such factors as the language spoken in the home, the ethnic composition of the neighborhood, and the percentage of a student 's friends who were in the same ethnic group”, they tend to have the same political ideology. Therefore, if they have a sense of unity their social identity remains stable, which cause their beliefs not dramatically to change.
