Difference Between Nike And Adidas

Improved Essays
How many of you would go and buy the more expensive sports gear just because of the brand that’s on it?
Probably most of us.
I am going to decide whether or not brands like Nike and Adidas are really better than buying brands from the warehouse like Active and Mitre. First off I am going to explain the price difference, then I will talk about the differences in quality.
The price:
First off the price, the price is a huge thing when it comes to sport brands. Straight away if you can’t afford the top brands like Nike and Adidas then you will go and buy the cheaper brands. But if you can afford to buy Nike and Adidas do you really need to buy from them?
To buy a pair of high quality running shoes from Rebel Sport you will probably be buying a pair of Nike or Adidas shoes ranging from 150 to 250 dollars. But if you just wanted some shoes to run in nothing special than the warehouse do some nice Mitre and Active running shoes that you can get a pair for 20 dollars. The Nike and Adidas shoes do offer something better for the money as the technology that has gone into them is a lot better than the cheaper brands. The technology helps to protect your feet more as there are different variations of shoes depending on the type of foot you have and the purposes you have for your shoes. The Active and Mitre are just a standard running that do not come in many models meaning that they do not offer much to support your feet but they are still a running shoe that will do the job if that’s all your looking for. If you did decide to choose the Nike or Adidas shoes than you are probably going and buying a high quality pair of running shoes that will help you out if you are having any problems with your feet. The quality: Now moving onto the quality of a product.

The quality will determine how long the shoes will last and if you are getting enough value for your money for the life of your shoes.
If a product is not very durable then the chances of it lasting for a long time are very slim.
Looking at running shoes the quality difference is very different as the Nike and Adidas shoes are very well made, so that they will last a lot longer than the other brands.
The main way to recognise quality is to see how long it will take for running shoes to wear out. If the shoe wears out quickly then it is probably not that good of quality. If it lasts a long time then it will be a higher quality shoe.
Spending the extra money in buying a good pair of running shoes is better as the cheaper brands tend to break not that long after purchase. If you do decide to buy the cheaper shoes than you will be replacing them a lot when you should have just gone and bought the better shoes at the start.
The Active and Mitre shoes are made to last but generally they don’t last as long as they should. They start to fall apart after wearing them for not that long. All running shoes will eventually break as a pair of running shoes can not last forever if you are wearing

Also Adidas and Nike both have a bunch of shoes on the market, but some are more expensive than others, the vast majority of both of their shoes are about the same price. Another point people make is that Adidas shoes are more durable, But considering that most of the shoes on the market are made of the same materials, neither of them are more durable it really just depends how hard the owner is on his/hers shoes. Besides the invention of flyknit that is probably the most lightweight, durable shoe material on the market. So really none of the stereotypes of Adidas being better than Nike is true.…
