In my opinion, Maslow’s theory of hierachy of needs best explains the concept of motivtaion. It is so because, the pyramid shows a path of growth. When a person is personaly, finacially and socially satisfied, he or she can focus on working on themselves in order to achieve what they want. Self actauliaztion is reaching one’s fullest potential. Maslow descibes it as the desire to become more and more what one is, to become everything one is capable of becoming. But before I start working towards it there are several things to be taken care of like do I have enough food to eat in order to sustain myself or my surroundings are safe. Therefore, I support and trace the explanation my motivating force through Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. One I am fully satisfied physiologically, personally and finacially, I will be driven and motivated to work on myself in order to reach my highest potential.
