Difference Between Knowledge And Shared Knowledge

We as humans gain knowledge through many different ways or some of us even produce new knowledge such as a scientist who gives out a new theory about wormholes, but without the knowledge being applied in some part of our life or in the world itself, its value could be reduced. The world ‘application’ in the question refers to the utilization of the knowledge which could mean that the knowledge is personal knowledge and not shared knowledge, the word ‘value’ refers to both the tangible and intangible importance of knowledge and the word ‘knowledge’ refers to the information which could be applied into the world. The areas of knowledge that will be considered are Math and Natural sciences which involves the ways of knowing such as reason and imagination.

Shared knowledge is developed from sympathy and empathy that over time creates a sense of belonging. Personal Knowledge on the other hand is unique knowledge that a person acquires through trial and error and perceives independently, even when applied into the world a part will always remain unshared and personal such as emotion. During our lifetime we acquire personal and shared knowledge in many ways and it can be said that they are interlinked because of the zone of exchange that exits between these two.
