Democracy is a system of the government that the whole population or all is eligible members of a state, typically through elected president. To me the definition of democracy is a system in the government that gives an opportunity to every civilian in the state or country can vote and be free to make any decisions by their account without affecting the state. In direct democracy citizens can have a say and a part in democracy because they get to pick their presidents and senator when they vote. Direct democracy and democracy are the most used types of government in the world 43% of the global population uses the type of government that we know as democracy. 1.6 billion people are partly in free some countries and there's some where it’s only a limited respect for freedom. As said democracy is one of the most used systems in today’s government. Democracy was meant to give every citizen the ability to vote in election as a free society. This type of government has helped a lot of states and countries that were in a with a self-government or another type of governments that needed help running the country. People say that they don’t have anything in common but they do. Both governments do their jobs in very different ways. Although they are told that Direct Democracy is way better than Dictatorship and it’s true in my opinion they have a lot in common and also a lot of differences. In conclusion these two have things in common and things that are very very different. They govern in different ways and have their different beliefs in how things should be done in their countries or states. Governments are hard to understand and some are harder than others but it is still important to know about them and be familiar with them because you might never know when one of the many types is going to show
