In contrast I can not say the same thing about the Cessna. For instance the Cirrus has a failsafe parachute system. Cirrus is the only type of aircraft with a parachute system incase of an emergency. In. Cessna I would hope for the best and brace for impact because there is no such system. Another difference in safety is, the warning systems these two places are equipped with. Cirrus has one of the best warning systems you can get in an aircraft. The amount of sensors and equipment the Cirrus is provided with is amazing. Cirrus is equipped with a total of five major system with a couple minor systems within each system. On the other hand, the Cessna only has one major system in association to safety. In addition Cirrus has something called “Cirrus Known Ice Protection System”(CKINS) it allows the Cirrus to fly into known icing conditions. The CKINS system released TKS fluid onto the wing essentially melting and preventing ice buildup similarly, to antifreeze in a car. As with a Cessna if there is ice buildup on the wing, again hope for the best and brace for impact. Once ice builds on a Cessna’s wing it cant come off unless the ambient temperature increases above freezing point. All in all the Cirrus is the distinct winner here …show more content…
The design of aircrafts can make it or break, it can change the way you feel and dictate your experience. Waking up to a Cirrus and looking at its smooth swept wing design only featured on newer private and commercial aircraft. The Cirrus wingtip lighting have been inspired by the automotive design ,with high end LED spectral lighting. Compared to the Cessna where it only has the bare-bone lights that are required by the Federal Aviation Administration. The Cessna has old standard bulbs that are nowhere as powerful as in the ones in the Cirrus. Another thing that sets the Cirrus apart from the Cessna is the door design. In the Cirrus the doors extend upwards instead of outwards giving the Cirrus a cool and innovative look. In comparison, the Cessna has the basic doors required to get in and out of the aircraft which is nothing special. As mentioned above I believe we can make the generalization that the Cessna just comes with the basic, as for the Cirrus it comes with all the little nooks and crannies. However they are both planes and do the same
