I think maybe thought doing what he did was an act of repainting the people in the town for their sins against him. He could have not interpreted from what the bible had actually meant. He (he- as in God) will repaint people for their trespasses against him. Different interpretations of the bible are a great problem in today’s world. Some people see what God has meant to be as a good thing as a bad thing. Well, that is only my opinion. I can’t say I’m right because everyone has a different view of the world. It’s possible that the different interpretations of the bible are the cause of the crisis’s that are going on around the world like ISIS.
