The Diary of a Snoopy Cat is an adventurous story of the most unlikely group of animal detectives. There’s the Leader Inca who is a Siberian kitty, Cara a Siamese kitty, Fromage A tabby cat, monk a blue Russian cat, Terrence the golden retriever, Polo the pikinese, and Charlotte the Robovorski dwarf hamster. The story is written as a diary from the perspective of Inca. As Monk’s family goes on a dangerous rescue mission in Nepal, Inca & Company have to start a mission of their own. They end up partnering with the scary Rottweiler down the street name Boss. Their mission is to find a hidden will that would prevent Boss’ owner Ned, from being kicked out of his Uncles house. If Ned gets kicked out, Boss will be left to be the watchdog for Cyril. Cyril is lazy and doesn’t care enough to be a proper dog owner. On the other hand, Ned loves him, he feeds him nutritious foods and always enjoys taking time to exercise with him at the park. Boss will do anything to keep Ned in the house he has lived in his whole life, even hire cat detectives. Where is the will? Will they find it or is Boss stuck with Cyril forever? Those questions and many more will be answered when you embark on this adventure with Inca & Company.

Molly Bang Paper When thinking of this assignment, I immediately knew which book I was going to choose. I felt that choosing a favorite book from my childhood could be a fun way to see the differences in how I viewed it then, and how I might view it today. As a child, I was in love with Mercer Mayer’s “Little Critter” books (and still am today). I decided not to go searching for an easy or popular book, rather I wanted to take one I know and love and see if/how Molly Bang’s principles were applied.…

I have so many different thoughts and opinions about this book. I started out loving Has to Be Love, was super conflicted in the middle, but thought the ending was pretty spectacular. Like I said, conflicted. Our narrator, Clara, was rather frustrating to read about because she was so torn between what decisions to make about particular things, but she was a truthful character (to us at least). Reading Clara's justifications for wanting certain things made me more interested in the story and what would eventually happen…

Your novel “Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer”, juxtaposes the two elements of a children’s book perfectly; on the one hand, you stay true to the subject of the novel and the real mythology, while still, you illustrate the macabre reality of Norse mythology in a way presentable to children. We have grown up watching the avengers. where the Norse characters strayed so far off from their true forms, so as to appeal to Hollywood. The truth was sugarcoated, censored, just so that the Avengers’ writers could generate more money. We grew up believing Thor was a blond, English Adonis, but in reality he was a disheveled ginger who rode on a chariot driven by two goats which he consumes every evening, then resurrects in the morning.…

“Books and movies are like apples and oranges. They both are fruit, but taste completely different” -Stephen King. I find that the movie paints a perfect picture well, on the other hand, reading the book you have to let your imagination take over and create images in your head of what might the scene look like. “ The cat in the hat” was a well-written book by celebrated children’s book author Dr. Seuss, originally published in 1957 and a well-developed movie directed by Bo Welch, after reading the book and watching the movie I found the movie much more entertaining than just reading the book.…

What would happen if an alien species attacked Earth 50 years ago, and we managed to fight them off temporarily? The book “Ender’s Game,” by Orson Scott Card, describes exactly that.
