My case study is on the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is Michigan's busiest airport, and one of the largest air transportation hubs in the country serving 22 airlines and around 33 million passengers each year. The airport is presently moderately congested and it is predicted to continue to increase over the next 15 years, which would place a heavier burden on the airport further resulting in the airport congestion and flight delay. Flight delay is complex to explain, because a flight can be out of schedule due to problems at the airport of origin, at the destination airport, or during the airborne.
