The following is a descriptive timeline of the crimes committed by Aileen Wuornos, prior to her murderous streak. The information used for the purpose of this case study was derived from the works of Newton (2006) and Wuornos & Berry-Dee (2006).
27th May, 1974 Aileen Wuornos, at the age of eighteen, was first arrested and jailed for driving under the influence, firing a .22 caliber pistol from a moving vehicle and disorderly conduct in Jefferson County, Colorado. At the time she was under the alias “Sandra Kretsch.” Following this arrest, she was charged with failing to appear in court.

On 4th August, 1990 Troy Burress’ body was found in the Ocala National Forest. He had been shot twice with a .22 caliber pistol in the back and chest and robbed of cash; an empty cash bag from a local bank was found near the scene.
12th September, 1990 Charles "Dick" Humphreys, a 56 year old male, trucker from Merritt Island who was also a former U.S. Air Force Major, State Child Abuse Investigator and Chief of Police, had been shot six to seven times with a .22 caliber pistol, in the head and torso. His clothed body was found in Marion County, Florida, with his pockets turned inside out. 19th September, 1990 Charles "Dick" Humphreys’ abandoned car was found without its license plates in Live Oak, Florida.
19th November, 1990 Walter “Jeno” Antonio, a 60 year old male who doubled as a reserve police officer for Brevard County, was Aileen Wuornos’ seventh and last victim. His body was found partially nude (only wearing socks) in an isolated area in Dixie County, Florida. He had been shot three times in his back and once in his head. 24th November, 1990 Walter “Jeno” Antonio’s car was found abandoned in Brevard County, Florida. It was determined that he was robbed of a gold ring, handcuffs, flashlight, nightstick and his badge.
