The team matches to show they are unified. In Brighton for example, they have a “B” on there helmet with red, white, and black jerseys and pants. Football teams in southern areas and texas wear darker colors than west coast teams like oregon that have brighter and more neon colors.
Before games, the teams warm up and stretch just like every other week. Each team is different of what order they do each stretch technique. But whatever they do it gets to the same end result. Then right before kickoff they get there whole team in a huddle and get them excited and pumped. Teams usually have a leader on the team to give a speech.
Football language is very bold. Most of the language comes from other football players saying it and then it just turns into a thing that everyone starts to say. For example, after odell beckham Jr. (in the NFL) made one of the best catches in NFL history. Then people started saying when someone caught a one handed catch it's called an odell. One of the most common football terms is “he broke your ankles”. This means that a person juked you so bad that it made you look bad and almost made you fall.
