Descriptive Essay About Dubai

I have visited Dubai twice, the first time in 2013 and the second time last Christmas and although I love Dubai I am sure it is not the place for everyone (although car fanatics will fall in love with Dubai). Even though it has it ́s bad sides, Dubai will always have a place in my heart. This ridiculous city has amazing architecture and awful traffic and is truly different from anything else. In this essay I will tell about the good and the bad sides of Dubai and of it ́s tourist attractions.
You might know about the amazing architecture found in the biggest city in The United Arab Emirates. Well this architecture begins the minute you land at the airport. The airports are gorgeous but incredibly poorly organized. When you land you have to

The first time I was in Dubai I visited Burj Khalifa. I got all the way to the 124th floor. It was a good experience, the views were absolutely stunning and I ́m glad I visited but what I didn ́t like is that it felt like it was built for tourists, which I ́m sure it was.
On both of my vacations I stayed at different hotels at Jumeirah Beach. I honestly enjoyed doing non-tourist things more. So if you are planning a trip to Dubai then you might keep that in

I mean how often are you going to experience that in Finland. My mom however was too scared to even get in the car. After driving around in the desert we got to eat dinner, smoke a shisha and I even got a henna tattoo at a desert camp. I was the only one out of us six who thought the camp was charming. I mean it was unsanitary and there was a lot going on but that is a small part of the Arabic culture, which I love.
Right next to our hotel there was a small new mall. It was nothing compared to the Dubai Mall. Dubai Mall has both it ́s good and bad sides. It has something for everyone, the employees are very helpful and everything is well organized. On the bad side it was a bit too big and there was a little bit too much happening. If you want to visit Dubai Mall you have to plan a lot ahead and book a whole day just to visit a store or

Dubai is very hot because it is near the equator and on the Tropic of Cancer. Places near the equator are hot because of the Earths curvature. An amount of sunshine falling on the equator is much more intense than the rays spread over a much larger area at the north and south poles. The heat is a problem because we lose water through different methods such as sweating and as well as that heat makes us very uncomfortable.…

Superficiality and Hypocrisy: The Case of Dubai Dubai, the rich super-state of the Gulf, has come to enjoy its position as the Middle East’s new cosmopolitan hub, successfully filling in the void that both Damascus and Cairo have left as a result of the Arab Spring. While the Emirate may enjoy fame and glory now, its reputation is only possible due to a carefully calculated effort by its leaders to artificially implant a culture into a placated society. What is worse is the widespread maltreatment and abuse of foreign workers, all chalked up to following cultural procedures rather than a blatant disregard of international human rights practices. These two factors combined with the culture of extravagance permeating the Gulf as a whole project Dubai into a dystopia where the only victors are the Maktoum family. The grandiose…
